About the Organization

Our interdisciplinary teams integrate efforts across Risk, Security, Operations, IT, Compliance, Communications, and Management to anticipate disruptions and ensure sustained business functionality.

Role Overview

The role calls for a strategic and proactive Crisis Management Manager to lead in crisis preparation, response strategy, risk coordination, business continuity, and maintaining organizational resilience. This position involves collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to craft comprehensive crisis protocols, oversee response mechanisms, and guarantee readiness for unforeseen operational interruptions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Formulate and update policies, procedures, and strategic frameworks for crisis management.
  • Lead coordination of preparedness and response activities across the organization.
  • Identify potential risks spanning operations, technology, security, business processes, and reputation.
  • Assist in conducting business impact and organizational risk assessments.
  • Develop response escalation paths and crisis communication plans.
  • Organize crisis drills, simulations, training, and exercises to test readiness.
  • Maintain critical crisis contact information and ensure accurate documentation and escalation processes.
  • Continuously monitor emerging threats, external events, and incidents that could affect business continuity.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across Operations, IT, Security, HR, Legal, Communications, Compliance, and Management.
  • Support activation and orchestration of crisis response efforts as necessary.
  • Document incidents, monitor action plans, decisions, and subsequent follow-up tasks.
  • Generate crisis reports, risk summaries, response updates, and briefings for management.
  • Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery projects and initiatives.
  • Analyze incidents and exercises to extract lessons learned and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate corrective measures and track remediation progress.
  • Support stakeholder communications during major incidents to ensure clear information flow.
  • Ensure crisis management documentation remains accurate and timely.
  • Conduct awareness sessions and train staff on crisis preparedness and response.
  • Continuously seek enhancements to resilience, response efficiency, and recovery strategies.

Applicant Requirements

  • Preferably holds a bachelor's degree in Business Continuity, Risk Management, Business Administration, Security, Emergency Management, Operations, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience in crisis management, business continuity, risk assessment, security, incident control, or operational roles.
  • Familiarity with developing policies, procedural documents, and crisis response plans is advantageous.
  • Strong foundation in crisis management fundamentals, business continuity, and risk evaluation principles.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to stay composed and methodical in high-pressure, time-sensitive circumstances.
  • Expertise in stakeholder engagement and inter-departmental coordination.
  • Skilled in compiling reports, presentations, risk registers, and executive documentation.
  • Keen attention to detail combined with multi-tasking proficiency.
  • Good grasp of incident escalation, communication, and response workflows.
  • Comfortable collaborating independently and with global teams.
  • Effective written and verbal English communication is essential.
  • Previous UAE or Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) experience is a plus, though not essential.
