Role Overview
Maritime Universal LLC invites applications for a Crewing Assistant position working remotely. This role demands hands-on experience with crewing, a solid grasp of maritime certification standards, and the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage crewing operations independently with minimal guidance.
- Process, validate, and verify maritime and offshore certificates accurately, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations.
- Maintain organization and meet daily deadlines with a calm and responsible approach.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Crewing Assistant, preferably within high-volume crewing or offshore operations.
- In-depth understanding of STCW regulations and maritime certificates, including distinctions between offshore and tanker fleets.
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in maritime or offshore recruitment.
- Strong decision-making capabilities and ability to perform well under pressure.
- Practical knowledge of vessel types, ranks, and certification matrices.
