About the Company
Enping Langsheng Electroacoustic Equipment Factory is offering a remote full-time opportunity for a Crew Scheduling Manager based in the United Arab Emirates. The company operates internationally with an emphasis on aviation operations, workforce planning, and operational excellence, collaborating across various departments to ensure effective airline operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily crew scheduling and roster planning to guarantee smooth operations.
- Create and sustain efficient crew schedules and staffing arrangements.
- Collaborate closely with teams from Flight Operations, Operations Control, Human Resources, Airport Operations, and Safety.
- Manage adjustments to rosters, shifts, and overall schedule updates.
- Track crew availability and utilization ensuring adequate operational coverage.
- Handle responses to operational disruptions including delays and unexpected scheduling changes.
- Ensure alignment of scheduling activities with company policies and operational needs.
- Maintain accurate scheduling documentation, reports, and records.
- Monitor scheduling key performance indicators, staffing levels, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with internal departments to optimize resource allocation and workforce effectiveness.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance scheduling efficiency and operational reliability.
- Assist with system enhancements and streamline scheduling processes.
- Draft scheduling reports and provide management updates regularly.
- Encourage accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout scheduling tasks.
- Keep abreast of developments in aviation scheduling, workforce planning technologies, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business, Operations Management, Human Resources, Transportation, or related discipline.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in crew scheduling, airline operations, workforce planning, or a similar aviation-related function.
- Strong grasp of scheduling, roster management, and operational coordination principles.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience using crew management or workforce scheduling software is an advantage.
- Understanding of aviation operational environments and scheduling processes is favorable.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate with international teams.
- Experience in UAE or GCC aviation sector is a plus but not mandatory.
- Relevant certifications in aviation or workforce planning are welcomed but optional.
