About The Role
This opportunity is for a full-time Credit Controller position based at Millennium Park, Ballycoolin, Dublin 11. The role involves managing debt collections within an assigned customer ledger, requiring ownership and responsibility for outstanding balances. The working hours are Monday to Friday from either 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm. Salary is competitive and will depend on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of debt collection activities for a specific customer ledger.
- Reach out proactively to customers to settle overdue payments.
- Manage a high volume of customer contacts daily with professionalism and confidence.
- Keep accurate records and generate reports using internal financial systems.
- Assist the broader finance team with various ad-hoc assignments as necessary.
- Ensure deadlines are met with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or a related role in finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ideally with advanced knowledge including formula usage.
- Prior experience working in medium to large organizations is favorable.
- Holding an IATI qualification or a comparable certification is advantageous.
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to proficiently use Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A self-driven and well-organized work approach.
- Comfortable working under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset and strong team player.
