About the Role
This position involves loading and unloading aircraft and vehicles, sorting packages, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery and pick-up of shipments. Additionally, you will verify shipments comply with company service standards and provide related customer service functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle loading and unloading of aircraft and vehicles efficiently.
- Sort packages systematically for delivery.
- Provide prompt and accurate package delivery and collection services.
- Verify shipments adhere to company and regulatory standards.
- Offer excellent customer service during delivery and collection processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in customer-focused business roles.
- Capability to lift up to 70 lbs manually and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs using equipment.
- Must pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
- Familiarity with company operations and Canadian Customs regulations is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Ability to handle multitasking and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including holidays as business needs dictate.
Additional Information
- Typical work schedule is full time, Monday to Friday, starting at 7:15 am.
- This job description is general and may include other duties as assigned.
- Candidates must be able to work on PC Windows systems and complete recurrent training and maintain required accreditations.
- If residing in Quebec, bilingual French-English communication skills are required.
- Driver candidate screening involves review of driving record (maximum two incidents in last 24 months), interviews, and competency assessments.
