Courier/DOT-2 Driver

Role Summary

The role involves operating company vehicles to deliver and collect packages promptly and courteously. The driver will verify that shipments meet FedEx service standards and provide excellent customer service. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Work Schedule

This position follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM with a one-hour break daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess a license appropriate for the assigned vehicle type.
• Physical capability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and handle heavier packages with proper tools or assistance.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Professional appearance is critical due to frequent customer interaction.
• Must comply with Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Medical examination required per FMCSA or FAA regulations; this is a non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Must maintain constant alertness and operate safely.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Proficient English reading and speaking skills needed to understand traffic signs, communicate with officials, and respond to enforcement guidance.

Preferred Pay

The hourly wage offered is $21.05.
