Job Overview
This role involves efficiently and courteously collecting and delivering packages along a designated route, ensuring each shipment adheres to FedEx Canada service standards, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver parcels reliably on assigned routes.
- Verify shipments for compliance with FedEx Canada service features.
- Offer customer service support related to shipment handling.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school or equivalent education.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a strong driving record (maximum of two violations/accidents in the prior 24 months).
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and use appropriate tools to manage packages up to 150 lbs.
- Preferably one year of business experience oriented around customer service.
- Successful completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training at required thresholds.
- Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively under pressure and adapt to fluctuating schedules including holidays.
Working Conditions and Details
- Permanent full-time position located in Brandon, Manitoba.
- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, starting at 7:00 AM.
- Must be flexible to work various shifts based on business demands.
