Job description
Position Overview
This role focuses on managing inventory and cost control activities within food, beverage, and retail segments to support operational revenue and efficiency. The candidate will conduct physical stock takes, analyze product performance, assist in pricing and menu adjustments, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical inventories for food, beverage, and retail departments as requested.
- Perform regular analyses on product mixes, margins, and customer preferences to inform merchandise impact on revenue.
- Help update pricing, menu items, and user information into the point of sale (POS) system.
- Register receipts of all consumable and non-consumable products into inventory and purchasing systems.
- Investigate unit measurement discrepancies and significant price deviations.
- Maintain and update inventory requisitions through integrated inventory-purchasing modules.
- Assist in estimating probable cost of sales ratios.
- Keep master cost files and organize receipts diligently.
- Randomly check that all goods are properly stored and secured.
- Comply fully with company policies and maintain professional appearance and conduct.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information, safeguarding company assets as well as privacy and security of guests and colleagues.
- Communicate professionally in person and via telephone, maintaining clear and courteous language.
- Perform light physical tasks including moving objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Foster positive working relationships and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum education level: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least three years of experience in a related role.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific licenses or certifications mandated.
