About the Role

The Life and Health Operations department is key to delivering cost-effective and extensive life and health insurance products, ensuring streamlined processes to deliver superior customer service. As a member of the Health Policy Servicing team, your focus will be managing IncomeShield plan policy servicing transactions and contributing to improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute various health policy servicing transactions, such as plan type modifications, policy terminations, payer or payment method changes, all within defined turnaround times.
• Draft and issue letters subsequent to transaction completions.
• Regularly audit the work performed by team members to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Participate in departmental or cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing process effectiveness and efficiency.
• Contribute to organizational initiatives including reviewing communications, work instructions, forms, and facilitating system improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in life and/or health insurance sectors along with relevant insurance certifications is advantageous.
• Familiarity with insurance intermediary business environments and industry practices related to individual life or health insurance.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities along with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate well within team settings.
• Willingness to work additional hours when necessary.
• Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
