Role Overview

This position calls for a Construction Site Logistics Coordinator to be based full-time onsite for a significant utility-scale renewable energy project just north of Auckland. The role involves hands-on coordination of daily logistics ensuring that materials, equipment, plant, deliveries, and waste are managed seamlessly and available at the right time and place to meet construction demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day logistics including coordinating materials, equipment, plant, and deliveries to meet construction schedules.
• Manage delivery scheduling, transport movements, laydown zones, storage facilities, and site access to align with construction priorities.
• Implement and adapt the overall logistics plan created with the Corporate Supply Chain Manager to changing site conditions and requirements.
• Collaborate closely with construction managers, site supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and transport providers to resolve logistical challenges preemptively.
• Handle site waste management, maintain logistics records and registers, ensuring adherence to HSEQ and environmental standards.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrates strong organizational, practical, and proactive logistics skills with a thorough understanding of construction site operations.
• Possesses 3 to 5+ years of experience in site logistics, materials coordination, or an analogous construction logistics role.
• Experienced in coordinating deliveries, equipment, plant movements, transport, and storage on major infrastructure or renewable projects.
• Knowledgeable about construction sequencing, laydown area management, site access, and materials storage protocols.
• Capable of managing competing priorities effectively and resolving problems onsite promptly.
• Excellent communication abilities and confidence interacting with construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and transport operators.
