About the Role

An established offshore law firm in Singapore is expanding its global business acceptance team and seeks a meticulous Conflicts Analyst. This position offers insight into the operations of a leading legal business and involves investigative, judgment-focused tasks to safeguard the firm when accepting new clients and matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and verify information related to new client matters, collaborating closely with fee earners to resolve any information gaps.
• Conduct and analyze conflicts database searches, synthesizing complex results to identify potential conflicts.
• Identify challenging conflict scenarios, escalate appropriately, and support the creation and upkeep of information barriers.
• Undertake various ad-hoc research and business acceptance projects spanning all practice areas within the firm.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant experience in legal or professional services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent research capabilities paired with strong analytical skills and great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good judgment, confidentiality handling, and the capacity to manage several competing priorities effectively under pressure.
• Additional advantage for candidates holding a degree and having exposure to conflicts, risk management, or new business intake processes.
