Responsibilities

• Take charge of configuration management for technical products, systems, and projects.
• Define configuration units, baselines, and their related technical documents and artifacts.
• Ensure transparent, structured, and traceable handling of changes, versions, and approval statuses.
• Coordinate liaising with related departments including development, quality, project management, and production.
• Support audits, inspections, and deliveries ensuring compliance with stipulated product and documentation standards.
• Contribute actively to the enhancement of processes, standards, and tools that support configuration management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in configuration management, change management, or similar roles within technically complex environments.
• Solid understanding of technical product structures, change processes, baselines, and release statuses.
• Structured, analytical, and meticulous work style capable of maintaining oversight in complex scenarios.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and enthusiasm for contributing to tool-supported processes.
• Good command of both German and English languages, spoken and written.
• Comfortable working in environments where technology, quality, and project operations are tightly interlinked.
• Motivated to bring order, clarity, and reliability to complex technical relationships and to actively shape and take responsibility for processes.
• Experience with complex, variant-rich, or customer-specific systems is beneficial and considered a strength.
