Role Overview
As a Condition Report Writer, you will be key to managing and optimizing the recording of vehicle inventory across various storage and facility locations. The position demands meticulous attention to detail, strong data management skills, and coordination across multiple departments to ensure precise vehicle condition reporting and accurate inventory tracking.
Primary Duties
- Capture detailed vehicle information precisely and update internal databases.
- Maintain comprehensive, current, and accurate inventories of vehicle condition data.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to deliver top-quality listings, minimizing errors, sale cancellations, and disputes.
- Collaborate with wholesale teams to improve logistics and ensure the smooth transfer of vehicles across sites.
- Operate at diverse locations including storage facilities, dealerships, and auctions to expedite vehicle recording in a timely manner.
- Guide and support junior vehicle inspectors and shuttle drivers through training and mentorship.
Key Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail critical for precise vehicle data collection.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must work onsite full-time without remote alternatives.
- Hold at least a valid Ontario G2 driver’s license.
- Maintain a clean driving record free from significant violations.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Availability to work rotating shifts between 8am and 6pm, including weekends.
Preferred Experience
- Prior exposure to automotive environments, data capture, or related fields with up to two years of experience.
