Job description
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Concrete Batcher to join our team at the Narangba production facility, driven by increased customer demand and production growth. In this role, you will be responsible for daily operations of our concrete plant, ensuring both efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the operation of various plant machinery, including both manual and automated systems.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, processing orders, and following up on requests.
- Engage effectively with internal team members and external stakeholders through multiple communication channels.
- Work diligently to reduce downtime, enhance operational performance, and uphold strict safety standards.
- Operate primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts, benefiting from competitive hourly pay plus overtime opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a valid Class C Drivers License is mandatory; additional certifications such as Loader or HR licenses are advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication skills adaptable to various methods and audiences.
- Mechanical aptitude with a keen interest in understanding and troubleshooting equipment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Proven commitment to maintaining safety standards and promoting safe working environments.
- Clearance requirements: must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, medical examination, and police background check.
