Job Role Overview

As a Commis II, you will be a key member of the kitchen team, preparing and cooking meals that delight guests. Your contribution is essential to delivering excellent food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain high standards for product quality and presentation.
• Support the Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, and Commis I in preparing mis-en-place following standard recipes.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions organized by hotel management.
• Ensure high-quality food production while controlling costs effectively.
• Manage time efficiently, meeting all deadlines.
• Assist the Demi Chef de Partie in the preparation and distribution of food items as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workplace and storage areas, adhering strictly to HACCP food safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a formal culinary diploma or an equivalent certification.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Commis chef in a large international hotel environment.
