Job description

Overview

This opportunity is for a full-time Colour Mixer Machine Operator positioned at the Darra facility in Queensland, Australia. The role involves operating machinery for rooftop tile production, emphasizing safety and quality.

Shift and Work Hours

The working schedule runs Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some Saturdays required, compensated as overtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a safety-first work culture, aiming for zero workplace harm and proactive safety intervention.
  • Operate and monitor multiple factory machines, identify faults, and conduct quality assurance tests.
  • Maintain workspace cleanliness adhering to 5S organizational standards.
  • Set up and replenish applicators in the production process.
  • Perform quality control inspections consistently.
  • Reset and initiate tile machines as required.
  • Follow and apply the production plan to ensure correct colors and tile profiles are produced.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in production areas.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in production or process-oriented technical roles, ideally within warehousing or large-scale manufacturing environments.
  • Strong awareness and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Eagerness to learn and assimilate new skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to operate both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
