Job Overview

First Coffee Company is seeking a dedicated Coffee Roaster to join their team full-time at the Dammam location. This role involves roasting coffee to specific profiles, maintaining equipment, conducting quality assessments, and supporting team operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform coffee roasting following established profiles while monitoring and adjusting roast curves to ensure consistent flavor and quality.
• Create and develop new roasting profiles to enhance product offerings.
• Operate, clean, and maintain roasting machinery and related equipment.
• Evaluate both green and roasted coffee beans through cupping sessions and sensory analysis.
• Maintain precise and accurate records of production data for quality tracking.
• Collaborate with team members regarding inventory, packaging timelines, and product launches.
• Assist in training staff on coffee preparation techniques and product knowledge.
• Adhere to safety, hygiene, and operational standards, contributing to ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in specialty coffee roasting, with an understanding of green coffee characteristics and flavor profiles.
• Skilled in developing new roast profiles independently.
• Knowledgeable in quality control methods including cupping, sensory evaluation, and thorough documentation of results.
• Highly attentive to detail, especially in maintaining production records.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with strong coordination across departments.
• Preference given to Saudi residents, but applicants from all nationalities are welcome.
