CNC Turnmill Machine Operator

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled CNC Turnmill Operator to join our Machine Shop department. This role involves independent operation of CNC Turnmill machines with a commitment to quality, production efficiency, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Turnmill machines autonomously.
• Preferably have experience with Fanuc or Siemens controllers.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and understand dimensional tolerances.
• Perform various machining operations such as OD/ID turning, drilling, threading, grooving, tapping, and live-tool milling.
• Set up tooling, adjust work offsets, and implement wear-offset corrections as needed.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments including Vernier calipers, Micrometers, and Bore Gauges for accurate quality control.
• Ensure adherence to required quality standards, efficient cycle times, and meet production targets.
• Monitor tool condition to manage tool life and minimize rejects or rework.
• Comply with machine safety protocols, use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain 5S workplace standards.
• Report any issues related to machinery, tooling, or product quality to the supervisor promptly.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a responsible and quality-focused operator with solid hands-on knowledge of CNC Turnmill operations and the flexibility to work in rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• 2 to 5 years of practical experience operating CNC Turnmill machines.

Salary & Benefits

The monthly compensation for this position ranges from ₹18,000 to ₹35,000.
