Role Overview

We are looking for a full-time CCTV Operator to work on-site in Dankuni, West Bengal. This role involves vigilant monitoring and assessment of CCTV feeds throughout the facility to uphold safety, security, and adherence to company policies. Responsibilities include observing real-time surveillance, detecting and reporting suspicious or hazardous incidents, maintaining detailed incident logs, and collaborating effectively with security, operations, and management teams. The position demands ensuring CCTV equipment functionality, addressing technical issues promptly, following established protocols, and respecting data privacy standards. Candidates must be prepared to work assigned shifts within a control room setting, maintaining focused attention throughout.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating CCTV systems with capabilities in live feed observation, playback examination, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong situational awareness and observational skills to promptly identify irregular activities, safety threats, and security breaches.
  • Competence in documenting incidents accurately, preparing reports, and maintaining meticulous records to facilitate audits and investigations.
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities for clear interactions with security staff, operations teams, and management.
  • Basic computing skills including familiarity with surveillance software, email, and standard office applications used for reporting and data handling.
  • Preferably experienced in security operations, control-room monitoring, or related roles within logistics or warehouse environments.
  • Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or surveillance are advantageous.
  • Capability to work rotating shifts, stay alert for extended monitoring periods, and adhere to safety, confidentiality, and data protection protocols.
