Role Overview
The Close Protection Operative will be tasked with ensuring the safety and security of clients by managing protective measures during their routine activities within the Greater Dublin area. This hands-on position requires conducting risk evaluations, planning secure itineraries, continuously observing surroundings, and responding to potential risks or emergencies. The operative must work closely with clients and fellow team members, oversee access controls, maintain a professional demeanor, execute thorough documentation, adhere to organizational policies, and assist in broader security tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in physical security including threat assessment, personal protection tactics, and heightened situational awareness.
- Strong communication capabilities for clear and effective interaction with clients and security teams.
- Customer service aptitude that ensures respectful and composed engagement with both clients and the public.
- Competence in applying security training efficiently, staying updated with protective operation methodologies.
- Awareness of sales principles to positively represent the company and enhance client relationships when required.
- Possession of relevant certifications such as accredited close protection courses and first aid or medical emergency preparedness is advantageous.
- Background in security services, law enforcement, military, or comparable protection roles with a preference for candidates able to work flexible schedules and uphold confidentiality.
