Overview
South Australia Police is seeking a Client Services Officer for a short-term contract role at the Port Augusta Police Station in the Far North Region. This term full-time position, lasting up to 12 months, focuses on delivering high-quality policing support services to regional communities in South Australia.
Role Summary
The Client Services Officer will act as the initial point of contact for public interaction, ensuring exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include performing various administrative and business support tasks, as well as providing dependable assistance to sworn police officers. While based primarily within the front station of Port Augusta, the role may occasionally involve offering relief support across other sections as defined in the Position Information Document.
Special Conditions
- Applicants must be authorized to work in Australia and will undergo a criminal history check.
- The role may require assignment to alternative duties at the same remuneration level.
- Occasional out-of-hours work and travel within or outside the state may be necessary.
- Participation in SAPOL’s iEngage program is mandatory.
Compensation and Application Process
The salary range for this ASO3 position is from $74,095 to $78,694 annually. Applicants should submit a cover letter (two pages) addressing the essential criteria outlined in the Position Information Document, along with a current resume and contact details for three referees, including their current manager. External candidates must also complete and include the RF2099 Pre-Employment Declaration Form.
