Role Overview
The position of Client Relationship Executive based in the Mumbai office involves managing existing client accounts, responding to incoming client queries, handling review copy requests followed by appropriate follow-up, coordinating order processing, and maintaining comprehensive client information systematically using a CRM system. This role suits individuals who enjoy engaging with clients and supporting sales and logistics processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Handle inquiries from professors, educational institutions, libraries, vendors, distributors, and institutional clients promptly.
- Follow up with clients who have requested review copies to understand whether they intend to adopt, purchase, or order the books for their use.
- Maintain accurate and updated client records, inquiries, follow-ups, orders details, and communication logs in a CRM system.
- Analyze client needs to recommend suitable Vibrant Publishers’ titles and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Generate invoices and work collaboratively with the logistics team to oversee order dispatch.
- Keep clients informed about the status of their orders including shipment tracking and delivery timelines.
- Liaise with book vendors when specific titles are adopted by professors, ensuring availability with designated vendors.
- Ensure that Vibrant Publishers’ books are stocked and available through standard vendors and distribution channels.
- Monitor pending client inquiries, follow-ups, review copy leads, vendor communications, and all order-related activities diligently.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English communication.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage follow-ups across multiple clients simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, email, Google Sheets or Excel, and basic office software applications.
- High attention to detail regarding invoicing, order tracking, and maintaining client records.
- Ability to discern client requirements and recommend appropriate products accordingly.
- Professional and courteous communication style required to interact with both Indian and international clients.
Preferred Experience
- Between 1 and 4 years’ experience in client relationship management, client servicing, sales coordination, customer success, inside sales, educational publishing, or B2B support roles.
- Experience working with professors, academic institutions, libraries, book vendors, or institutional clients is advantageous.
- Prior use of CRM software such as Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent platforms is preferred.

Additional Information
Salary Range: INR 400000 to 500000 annually, commensurate with experience and skill set.
Location and Working Hours: Office located at A701, W92, Vazira Naka, L.T. Road, Borivali (West), Mumbai – 400 092. Working hours are 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM from Monday to Friday and 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Saturdays.
