Role Overview

Chronograph is establishing its first dedicated Client Development presence in Singapore and is seeking an experienced, dynamic sales expert to spearhead new client acquisition across APAC, targeting both GP fund managers and LP institutional investors. This position offers the chance to operate within a collaborative, innovative team selling cutting-edge technology. The successful candidate will handle the full sales process from lead generation to closing, helping define the regional sales strategy and scaling the team locally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership including Director of Client Development EMEA/APAC and Global Head of Sales to shape and implement a regional go-to-market strategy.
  • Act as the main client liaison throughout the engagement, from prospecting and needs assessment through presentations, proof of concept, negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Develop expertise in GP and LP use cases such as portfolio monitoring, performance reporting, and data workflows to provide tailored client solutions.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations to executive-level stakeholders within sophisticated fund management firms and institutional investors.
  • Support regional recruitment and team-building efforts by contributing to hiring strategies, onboarding processes, and operational routines for future hires.
  • Continually refine client development processes as the APAC team expands.
  • Travel as necessary for client meetings within the APAC region and periodically to Chronograph’s global offices.

Candidate Profile

  • At least six years of experience in enterprise software sales or within private capital markets.
  • Demonstrable success in software or professional services sales targeting the finance industry.
  • Experience engaging both GP fund managers and LP institutional investors including private equity firms, fund of funds, endowments, pension funds, or sovereign wealth funds.
  • A well-established network across Singapore and the APAC private capital markets.
  • Ability to analyze complex client needs and deliver innovative, client-centric solutions.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with confidence engaging C-suite and investment decision-makers.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple sales opportunities efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Leadership qualities coupled with a collaborative, solution-driven mindset, experienced in building teams/functions from the ground up.
  • Flexibility to operate across multiple time zones and travel internationally to offices in New York and London as well as client sites within APAC.
  • Legal authorization to work in Singapore without employer-sponsored visa requirements.
  • Familiarity with private capital structures and investment performance reporting is advantageous.
  • Positive outlook, creativity, and a sense of humor.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills paired with excellent communication.
