Role Overview
TILL, Inc supports adults with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and other specialized needs through diverse housing and individualized options. The Client Benefits Manager is responsible for overseeing and administering financial and benefit services for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all related processes.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time role requiring attendance from Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer client benefits such as Social Security/SSI, Representative Payee services, MassHealth, housing vouchers, trusts, and other relevant supports.
- Manage and document all applications, renewals, SSA reviews, redeterminations, and key benefit deadlines.
- Track client benefits continuously and address any interruptions, overpayments, eligibility issues, or reductions promptly.
- Ensure accurate financial and benefits records for clients are maintained within TILL’s systems.
- Communicate with families, guardians, internal programs, government entities, housing authorities, and external agencies related to client benefits coordination.
- Oversee Representative Payee duties including safeguarding client funds and maintaining compliant records.
- Generate regular reporting and respond effectively to audits, surveys, and benefit-related inquiries.
- Maintain thorough documentation while ensuring confidentiality of client information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in English for reading, understanding, and communication.
- Preferred experience in human services or managing client benefits.
- Familiarity with Social Security, MassHealth, housing assistance, and Representative Payee policies is an advantage.
- Excellent organization, detail orientation, problem-solving capability, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines independently and protect sensitive client data.
