About the Role

Portland Leisure and Aquatic Centre is seeking a dedicated individual to join their internal cleaning team, playing a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all visitors and members year-round.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility.
• Strictly adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Risk, and Environmental policies.
• Follow safe work methods and procedures at all times.
• Comply with all safety requirements related to staff and program operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a valid Working with Children Check or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a Police Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Familiarity with accepted cleaning practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and neat appearance.

Additional Information

• The position requires approximately three hours of work daily, scheduled around patron visit times, including weekend relief duties.
• Staff are granted complimentary access to the facility.
