Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified On-Road Motor Vehicle Assessor to operate across the Melbourne metropolitan area, conducting in-person vehicle assessments at various sites. This role is compensated above the prevailing Victorian market rate to secure the best talent. Key responsibilities include performing on-site assessments, preparing detailed reports with cost estimates, managing claims from start to finish within set deadlines, and collaborating effectively with customers, repair shops, and insurers.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated background as a motor vehicle assessor for a general insurer or accident management organization.
- Trade qualifications as a panel beater, mechanic, or equivalent automotive trade certificate.
- Possession of a valid driver's license along with strong knowledge of recommended vehicle repair practices.
- Capable of working independently with strong prioritization skills and precise damage evaluation without supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and quick adaptability to new tools and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual package of $155,000, including base salary, superannuation, and choice between a car allowance or a fully maintained company vehicle.
