Civil Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with up to two years of practical experience who possesses a solid foundation in civil engineering principles. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with AutoCAD, and familiarity with STAAD Pro is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interpret civil and architectural drawings accurately, are essential for this role.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor construction activities at on-site locations to ensure compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, and quality benchmarks.
• Perform site measurements and support the calculation of quantities, material estimations, and material requisitions.
• Contribute to the preparation and upkeep of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, contractor payments, and material planning documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and site personnel to facilitate seamless project workflows.
• Assist in diagnosing and addressing technical challenges and execution issues encountered during construction.

Candidate Requirements

• 0 to 2 years relevant work experience in civil engineering projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software; knowledge of STAAD Pro is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordination and teamwork.
• Able to accurately read and interpret civil and architectural drawings.
