Overview
The Chef de Partie position involves supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to uphold high standards in food preparation, production, and service while ensuring compliance with food hygiene HACCP regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Arrive punctually for scheduled shifts, wearing a full, clean, and presentable uniform in line with company grooming standards.
- Maintain impeccable personal cleanliness and hygiene throughout duties, strictly adhering to HACCP guidelines.
- Ensure that kitchen staff consistently meet uniform and personal hygiene protocols.
- Assist in verifying that all food purchases meet the agreed-upon quality standards.
- Support training efforts to ensure staff meet established culinary standards.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on daily and event menu planning.
- Guarantee adherence to cleaning schedules and conduct daily hygiene inspections.
- Comply fully with company regulations regarding fire safety, health and safety, food hygiene, customer service, and security.
- Oversee and check dishes prepared to confirm they meet quality standards before service.
- Perform ordering tasks as necessary and manage delivery intake of supplies.
- Follow the company's Code of Conduct at all times.
- Understand and fulfill responsibilities as outlined in the Health and Safety Statement and Staff Handbook.
- Keep workspaces clean, safe, and organized consistently.
- Report maintenance concerns promptly to management.
- Participate in training sessions and team communication meetings as scheduled.
