About the Role

Join DB Breweries, a member of the global HEINEKEN family, and contribute to crafting the cider enjoyed nationwide in New Zealand. We seek a proactive Cellarhand to support our production team at Redwood Cidery in Nelson. This permanent, full-time position involves working hands-on to produce quality cider while maintaining stringent safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cider production and filtration processes.
• Handle and receive raw materials and juice deliveries efficiently.
• Uphold rigorous hygiene practices and 5S workplace organization standards.
• Foster a safe, efficient, and collaborative team environment.
• Identify and propose continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operations.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in manufacturing, production, winery, brewery, food, or beverage sectors is preferred.
• High attention to detail and a strong dedication to quality are essential.
• Effective teamwork and communication capabilities.
• Possession of a forklift licence is favorable.
• Qualifications in science, food technology, or winemaking are advantageous.
