About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to contribute to our kitchen operations at our advanced manufacturing facility in Barton-Upon-Humber. This full-time position requires working Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The annual remuneration for this role is £28,332. A valid driving license is mandatory.
Key Duties
- Restocking vending machines regularly and managing inventory levels by coordinating with suppliers.
- Performing simple food preparation and serving tasks in the canteen as needed.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the workstation, including cleaning and dishwashing at shift end.
- Participating in a weekly cleaning schedule to ensure hygiene standards are met.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience working in a catering environment is essential.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to provide cover for colleagues during absences.
- Genuine interest and understanding of food handling and presentation.
- Comfortable working within a culturally varied team.
- Possession of a driving license is required.
