About the Role

Become an essential part of a community-focused, locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store by delivering exceptional health, beauty, and convenience services. You will place customers at the heart of your daily responsibilities, ensuring every interaction is positive and professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by warmly greeting customers and engaging positively during their visits.
• Maintain a tidy, orderly checkout zone for smooth and accurate transactions.
• Precisely scan or enter product details and accurately handle cash, coupons, lottery tickets, and PC Optimum transactions, always asking customers for their PC Optimum Card.
• Handle merchandising tasks including proper product facing, signing, and labeling, and complete documentation relating to receipts and returns.
• Adhere strictly to loss prevention measures by controlling cash, lottery, and stamp inventory responsibly.
• Present a professional image consistent with uniform and dress code policies, comply with health and safety regulations, and uphold store policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and overall store appearance, performing any additional duties as delegated.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong planning, judgement, and decision-making abilities.
• Balance teamwork with efficient order processing to ensure smooth customer experiences.
• Organized with an eye for detail and neatness, capable of precise record keeping.
• Proven computer literacy and proficiency using registers.
