Car Service Floor Quality Controller

Role Overview

The Floor Quality Controller (FQC) is responsible for ensuring the thorough inspection and quality assurance of vehicles after service and repair activities. This role requires meticulous verification to confirm that all maintenance tasks are completed as planned and that each vehicle meets stringent safety and quality standards before being returned to the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify that all jobs listed on the service job card are fully and properly completed.
• Inspect the vehicle’s condition, including mechanical, electrical, and safety systems, ensuring everything functions correctly.
• Conduct road testing to detect any driving issues or repeated customer complaints.
• Collaborate closely with technicians and service advisors to resolve outstanding or pending problems.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and prepared suitably for customer delivery.
• Maintain detailed records and reports of quality inspections carried out.
• Work towards minimizing repeat repairs and customer dissatisfaction by maintaining high-quality standards.
• Adhere to established company processes, safety protocols, and quality procedures for service delivery.
• Ensure timely delivery of serviced vehicles accompanied by comprehensive quality checks.
