Role Overview

As a Call Centre Agent at Lightstone, your responsibility extends beyond just placing calls; you will engage deeply with respondents to extract meaningful insights regarding their experiences. Achieving success here requires exceptional communication abilities, excellent phone etiquette, active listening, and precise data capture. A keen eye for quality and attentiveness to detail is crucial.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum education requirement: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Previous experience as a Lightstone Fieldworker is preferred
- Consistent achievement of superior quality standards and targets
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in the Call Centre Management (CCM) system: Ability to recognize current projects, understand call statuses and histories, efficiently navigate surveys, and submit correct data
- Ability to detect and evaluate system or audio-related problems, escalating as necessary
- Familiarity with communication tools including MicroSIP, Microsoft Teams, and email for everyday tasks
Non-Technical Skills
- Effective verbal communication skills: Speak clearly, respectfully, and confidently while actively engaging with callers
- Strong attention to detail ensuring the accurate capture and integrity of data
- Adaptability to quickly learn new scripts, projects, and handle diverse respondent profiles
- Cooperative team player committed to supporting colleagues and working collaboratively
- Maintain professionalism and focus, even during repetitive activities or under pressure
