Calibration Engineer

Role Overview

We are searching for Calibration Engineers with around two years of relevant experience to carry out calibration of various measurement instruments following NABL/ISO 17025 standards, both in our laboratory and at client locations. This position offers engineering graduates a chance to develop a career focused on metrology and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate mechanical, electrical, thermal, and dimensional instrumentation according to standard protocols and NABL norms.
• Generate and maintain precise calibration certificates and associated documentation.
• Perform calibration tasks on-site at client premises as required.
• Handle calibration standards and tools responsibly and ensure their proper maintenance.
• Adhere strictly to ISO/IEC 17025 quality management systems and documentation processes.
• Assist in uncertainty of measurement (UoM) computations under supervision.
• Collaborate with the quality and technical teams to address non-conformances and inquiries from clients.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess a B.E./B.Tech or Diploma degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or similar engineering fields.
• Have at least 2 years of professional experience; fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of measurement science, metrology principles, or quality management systems is advantageous.
• Willing and able to undertake local travel for on-site calibration work.
• Exhibit keen attention to detail, disciplined documentation habits, and a systematic work methodology.
• Proficient with fundamental computer applications such as MS Excel and Word for preparing reports.
