Role Overview

Busser team members are essential backstage support personnel who ensure that Flanigan’s dining rooms, bars, and patios are prepared and maintained for an outstanding guest experience. This involves setting tables, clearing away used items, and maintaining cleanliness to support servers, bartenders, and the entire restaurant team efficiently.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to all company-mandated safety, sanitation policies, and procedural trainings.
• Prepare and clear tables promptly to accommodate incoming guests.
• Assist diners by removing dishes and glassware efficiently.
• Remove trash and debris regularly from dining and bar floor areas.
• Keep restrooms, patios, parking lots, and waiting spaces clean and orderly.
• Ensure all high chairs and booster seats are clean and sanitary.
• Perform shift transitions, including opening and closing tasks as assigned, alongside other sidework duties.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping during shifts.
• Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs and place items on high shelves, including coolers and freezers.
• Work takes place in both indoor damp and warm environments, with occasional outdoor exposure.

Certification and Compliance

• Successfully complete Florida Responsible Vendor training to comply with company standards and Florida laws.
• Obtain and maintain food safety certification in accordance with Flanigan’s and state regulations.
• Proficiency in English for speaking, reading, and writing.

Work Schedule and Benefits

• Workweek consists of five days.
