Role Overview

The Business Development Representative (BDR) role focuses on outbound prospecting and building a pipeline within assigned regions and industries. This position serves as a critical stepping stone for progression into customer-facing roles with Mid-Market or Tier 1 clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound outreach to target accounts across various industries and regions.
  • Engage potential clients through multiple channels including email, phone, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
  • Perform research to understand accounts, stakeholders, and decision-making processes.
  • Secure qualified meetings and sales prospects for Account Executives.
  • Coordinate with regional sales and customer teams on pipeline development activities.
  • Manage outreach activities using designated tools and adhere to approved strategies.
  • Employ prospecting and research platforms to validate and enrich account information.
  • Keep precise records of prospects and interactions within Salesforce and outreach software.
  • Adhere to qualification criteria and outreach best practices to maintain a high-quality pipeline.
  • Utilize AI and automation to enhance research, outreach efficiency, and productivity.
  • Continuously expand product and customer knowledge to support sales efforts.
