Job description
Company Overview
We are an innovative AI startup located in central Munich, dedicated to setting the global benchmark for AI-driven coaching. Unlike many AI firms focusing on replacing human labor, our mission is to enhance uniquely human skills to produce significant business outcomes for our enterprise clients. Our proprietary AI technology enables sales and service teams at large enterprises to build trust and close deals by providing realistic client simulations and detailed behavioral feedback.
Role Summary
This Munich-based, German-speaking position serves as the forefront of our commercial efforts in the DACH region. Working closely with a Senior Account Executive in a dedicated one-on-one partnership, you will manage the top of the sales funnel. Your responsibilities include researching target companies and contacts, initiating conversations through cold calling, personalized email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach, specifically engaging senior decision-makers in Sales Enablement and Commercial Excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a proven sales closer, gaining hands-on experience in enterprise sales, with a clear trajectory toward advancing to an Account Executive role.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive qualified pipeline creation by proactively conducting outbound outreach via cold calls, tailored email sequences, and LinkedIn to target accounts.
- Conduct thorough research on companies and buying centers to identify senior stakeholders in Sales Enablement, Commercial Excellence, and Service Ownership.
- Lead effective initial conversations to qualify needs and schedule meetings accepted by the partnered Account Executive.
- Collaborate closely with a Senior Account Executive in a dedicated one-to-one arrangement, sharing account plans, coordinating daily activities, and jointly developing territory sales strategies.
- Maintain organized and accurate data entry in the CRM system (HubSpot) to ensure reliable pipeline management and seamless handoffs.
- Continuously test and refine messaging, outreach sequences, and target lists alongside marketing and sales colleagues.
- Utilize the company's own platform to enhance outbound and discovery skills while deepening product knowledge.
Candidate Requirements
- Two to four years of outbound experience in B2B SaaS sales development roles, preferably targeting enterprise clients.
- Proven history of consistently meeting or exceeding pipeline targets, with verifiable performance metrics.
- Strong aptitude for cold outreach, capable of initiating cold calls, navigating conversations, and managing objections without scripts.
- Proficiency in German at a business-fluent level (C1 or above) and English; the role requires presence in Munich and primarily addresses the DACH market.
- Self-motivated, receptive to coaching, resilient to rejection, and eager to learn from feedback.
- A clear goal to progress into an Account Executive position within 18 to 24 months.
- Familiarity with modern sales technology, including CRM tools (HubSpot), sales engagement platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and data enrichment solutions.
- Desirable: Experience targeting sectors such as pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, FMCG, insurance, automotive, or retail, or buyers involved in sales enablement, coaching, or learning and development.
Benefits and Culture
- Above-average compensation structure with uncapped commission tied to pipeline and deal success, offering a competitive On-Target Earnings (OTE).
- Flexible working hours supporting work-life balance.
- A high-performance culture emphasizing growth and achievement.
- Personalized 1:1 mentorship from a senior Account Executive, fostering continuous development.
- Engagement with major enterprise clients across diverse industries including pharma, insurance, telecom, FMCG, retail, and automotive.
- Direct interaction with the company's founders, influencing sales strategies and processes.
- Access to a scientifically backed product based on research from the Technical University of Munich, which also serves as a tool for personal skill enhancement.
- A central office location in Munich within an international team environment.
Application Process
Those interested in advancing their enterprise sales careers by learning directly from experienced closers and contributing to high-value deal pipelines are encouraged to submit their CV along with a brief description of their most effective cold call or outbound campaign. The recruitment process is efficient, including an introductory call, a detailed discussion with the assigned AE partner, a practical case involving a live cold-call exercise, and a conversation with a company founder.
