About the Role
Magical Destinations Travel by Amy is seeking a dedicated Business Development Representative to join its remote team based in Canada. This role centers on managing CRM systems, overseeing pipeline activities, and following up to ensure that visibility, ownership, and record accuracy are maintained throughout the sales process from intake to handoff.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage assigned business development tasks within the Canadian market by utilizing CRM tools, conducting needs assessments, and generating leads, keeping owner visibility transparent and traceable.
- Evaluate incoming data for pipeline management, research, and quote assistance, identifying any inconsistencies or incomplete information before progressing to subsequent workflow steps.
- Monitor open tasks through diligent follow-up procedures and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure quality handoffs, clear ownership, and adherence to deadlines.
- Record decisions and coordinate handoffs through detailed documentation of needs assessments, lead generation, and sales prospecting, enabling team members to seamlessly continue workflows without loss of information.
- Utilize research and quote support alongside CRM platforms to maintain high standards of quality, escalating issues promptly if record completeness cannot be verified.
Success Metrics
Effective performance in this position is demonstrated by thorough documentation, strong owner accountability, and clear evidence trails in all workflow processes, ensuring that unresolved matters have designated owners and completed tasks are verifiable.
Candidate Profile
- Proven competence with CRM software, pipeline management, and lead generation in a remote Canadian workflow context.
- Exceptional written communication skills for needs assessment, research, and documentation purposes, ensuring clear status updates and ownership tracking.
- Ability to apply quote support, comprehensive documentation, and sales prospecting methods effectively while keeping accurate and up-to-date records.
- Good judgment in following up, understanding role contexts, and knowing when to escalate workflow challenges efficiently.
