Role Overview
We are looking for a driven Business Development Representative based in Australia, focused on qualifying leads and fostering opportunities within commercial and enterprise clientele. This role demands a proactive individual with a proven sales success record who can identify customer requirements and nurture relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement prospecting tactics to engage current Docker users showing potential for commercial license acquisition.
- Assess prospect challenges and needs related to Docker solutions.
- Gauge interest levels in Docker offerings and arrange meetings between qualified leads and sales executives.
- Meet or exceed targets for qualified prospects and new business opportunities.
- Respond promptly and qualify inbound inquiries about Docker products.
- Create positive initial impressions by delivering value at each customer interaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to relay customer feedback for continuous improvement.
- Participate in team growth and mentorship initiatives.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of one year’s experience in sales roles with a documented history of achieving targets.
- Self-motivated, with excellent communication and active listening skills.
- A strong appetite to learn about industry trends and how Docker products address client needs.
- Integrity-driven with a collaborative, team-centric approach.
- Meticulous attention to detail paired with a solid work ethic.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
Onboarding and Development
In the first month, new hires will experience comprehensive onboarding, receive company equipment and swag, and engage in training on tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Common Room, Outreach, and Sales Navigator. Initial activities include prospecting, lead qualification, appointment setting, and pipeline management while working closely with managers and account executives.
By the second month, the focus shifts to targeted account research, refined outreach campaigns through multiple communication channels, mastering product knowledge, and adhering to performance standards.
Within three months, representatives are expected to perform independently with advanced expertise in messaging, processes, and tools, consistently qualifying leads successfully.
