Role Overview
A fast-growing B2B SaaS company based in London is seeking two Business Development Representatives to join their commercial team. The primary focus of this position is structured outbound prospecting, early-stage discovery, and generating well-qualified sales opportunities for the Account Executive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish new business opportunities through calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify appropriate decision-makers at targeted enterprise accounts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders in enterprise organizations.
- Lead initial discovery discussions to uncover business challenges, priorities, and potential drivers for purchase.
- Use MEDDICC or MEDDPICC methodologies to qualify sales opportunities thoroughly.
- Produce detailed and clear handover documents for Account Executives to ensure seamless progression.
- Manage prospects over extended enterprise sales cycles effectively.
- Achieve opportunity generation and pipeline development targets consistently.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) in the B2B SaaS sector.
- Hands-on knowledge and application of MEDDICC or MEDDPICC sales qualification frameworks.
- Proven track record of creating sales opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts.
- Experience engaging with enterprise-level or complex mid-market clients.
- Comfortable and confident using phone communication as part of multichannel sales strategies.
- Evidence of meeting or exceeding sales targets and making significant pipeline contributions.
- Demonstrated organized approach to account research and managing weekly outreach activities.
- Excellent discovery, communication, and active listening skills.
- Possession of a university degree.
- Strong motivation to advance into an Account Executive role.
Experience in cybersecurity, FinTech, RegTech, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), enterprise data, or workflow software would be an added benefit.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary ranging between £45,000 and £50,000 per annum.
- Commission potential from £15,000 up to £35,000 per annum.
