Billing Officer

Position Overview

Biomech Healthcare is seeking a skilled Billing Officer to manage billing operations within their Pharmaceutical Carrying & Forwarding Agent (CFA) segment. This role demands proficiency with SAP billing modules, particularly in pharmaceutical invoicing, order processing, stock handling, and dispatch documentation, combined with strong Excel expertise and fast, precise execution.

Primary Responsibilities

• Generate and manage sales invoices, stock transfers, delivery challans, and related billing documents using SAP software.
• Oversee and execute daily billing tasks associated with pharmaceutical CFA activities.
• Accurately process customer and stockist orders adhering to strict deadlines.
• Collaborate with warehouse, sales, logistics, and accounting teams to ensure seamless order flow and dispatch.
• Verify product specifications, batch and expiry details, quantities, pricing, discounts, promotional schemes, and GST compliance prior to billing.
• Guarantee accurate, timely billing, order processing, and dispatch documentation completion.
• Manage billing adjustments including corrections, cancellations, and issuance of credit/debit notes as necessary.
• Maintain and update billing and dispatch logs within SAP and Excel environments.
• Prepare comprehensive billing and operational reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Perform reconciliations of billing records against stock and dispatch data.
• Adhere to company standards and pharmaceutical industry regulations relating to billing.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate degree in B.Com, BBA, or related fields.
• Between 4 to 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical billing, especially within CFA, C&F, distribution, or wholesale sectors.
• Extensive practical experience with SAP billing modules is essential.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, capable of utilizing complex formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions, and adept at filtering, sorting, and reconciling data.
• Fast and highly accurate typing and data entry abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical product details, batch tracking, expiry management, GST, promotional schemes, and billing workflows.
• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manage large volumes of billing transactions swiftly and correctly.
• Excellent interpersonal coordination and communication skills.
• Capacity to operate effectively under pressure and meet stringent daily billing and dispatch deadlines.
