Role Overview

We are seeking a Billing Assistant based in London to join a team of eight professionals reporting to the Finance Manager, collaborating within the accounting department led by the Financial Controller. The candidate will support both the London and Jersey offices and work closely with Senior Accounts Assistants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and verify client invoices for the London and Jersey offices.
  • Post and reconcile client-related search fees accurately.
  • Manage postings of fixed fees.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing intercompany recharge invoices for both offices.
  • Help oversee the Accounts Help shared Mailbox.
  • Participate in various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess 1 to 2 years of experience in a comparable billing or financial support role.
  • Experience within the legal sector is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and communicative abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Able to engage and build professional rapport with busy stakeholders.
  • Exhibit a customer-focused approach with an aptitude for meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities and tasks.
