Job description
Role Overview
This position involves implementing and managing dependable big data infrastructure systems such as HDFS, HBase, ElasticSearch, Doris, RocksDB, and ClickHouse. The engineer will design and build tools to automate management processes for large-scale big data platforms, ensuring efficiency and stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain reliable big data infrastructure systems.
- Create and enhance automation tools to streamline big data system management at scale.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues related to system performance and failures.
- Work closely with application development teams to troubleshoot problems and bolster system reliability.
- Participate actively in 24x7 on-call rotations and handle incident responses promptly.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or relevant fields.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and computer architecture.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python, Golang, or Java.
- Experience working with Unix/Linux systems and networking is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across diverse teams.
- Ability to communicate fluently in Chinese and English is considered a plus.
