Job Overview
The role involves managing and developing a retail beauty team to achieve high revenue targets while upholding brand image, operational standards, and delivering excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by tracking team performance, spotting commercial opportunities, and proposing strategies to exceed sales objectives.
- Foster a culture centered on outstanding customer service through exemplary leadership.
- Handle customer complaints efficiently and resolve issues promptly.
- Reduce stock loss by enforcing policies and procedures rigorously.
- Utilize stock management data to maximize sales potential.
- Coordinate stocktakes with the Operations department and ensure their smooth execution.
- Ensure full compliance with all company policies, health, and safety standards.
- Generate and analyze reports to monitor performance trends, identify opportunities, and provide valuable stock feedback to Buying and Planning teams.
- Plan, manage, and support sales promotions and brand initiatives to meet targets.
- Maintain effective communication with business partners and provide market and customer profile insights to Marketing, Buying, and Planning.
- Guarantee that Visual Merchandising is aligned with brand guidelines and uphold appearance, maintenance, and cleanliness standards.
- Track sales per square foot to optimize productivity according to brand and store standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, offering recommendations accordingly.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and guide team members towards achieving shared goals.
- Coach and motivate staff to elevate performance and ensure continuous professional growth for advancement opportunities.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- A graduate degree in any discipline is required.
- Between five to seven years of proven experience managing a profitable retail store successfully.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong commercial sense with adept negotiation abilities.
- Thorough industry knowledge and previous experience managing similar size retail operations.
- Confident, knowledgeable about products and current market trends.
- Good grooming and a pleasant personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
