Baker

Position Overview

We are seeking a lively and driven baker to join our collegiate team based in Douglas, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing an assortment of breads, pastries, and other bakery items each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere closely to recipes ensuring the quality production of baked goods.
• Keep kitchen areas and baking equipment clean and in good order.
• Regularly manage ingredient inventory and place orders as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be able to follow recipes accurately and uphold proper food safety and sanitation standards.
• Experienced in utilizing a variety of kitchen tools for baking diverse products.
• Possess basic mathematical skills to assist with inventory control and ordering processes.
• Prior experience in a retail baking environment is a plus.

Workplace Location

South Georgia State campus.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $14 to $16.
