Job description
Position Overview
We seek a skilled AV AutoCAD Designer / AV Solution Designer who is proficient in AutoCAD, knowledgeable about audiovisual equipment, adept at technical drawings, and capable of creating compelling PowerPoint presentations on AV solutions.
Key Duties
- Create detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for AV projects.
- Design AV layouts specifically tailored for Conference Rooms, Boardrooms, Training Rooms, Meeting Rooms, and Video Conferencing Rooms.
- Prepare ceiling plans, wall elevation schematics, rack arrangements, and precise equipment placement diagrams.
- Draft basic audiovisual block diagrams illustrating signal flows.
- Develop professional-grade PowerPoint presentations showcasing AV solutions.
- Incorporate equipment visuals, model numbers, specifications, and layout proposals into presentations.
- Assist with compiling BOQs (Bill of Quantities)/BOMs and equipment schedules.
- Understand elementary AV equipment including displays, projectors, cameras, microphones, speakers, DSPs, amplifiers, switchers, video conferencing, and control systems.
- Collaborate closely with sales representatives, project managers, and AV engineers.
- Update drawings and presentations to reflect client and project modifications.
- Visit job sites as necessary for taking measurements and coordinating designs.
- Maintain detailed and well-organized project drawings and technical documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Mandatory proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and Word.
- Basic knowledge of audiovisual systems and hardware components.
- Strong grasp of technical drawings and layout preparation.
- Effective presentation and documentation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work outputs.
- Excellent communication capabilities and ability to coordinate with teams.
Experience Expectations
1 to 3 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD, AV design, or AV integration is preferred. Candidates with backgrounds in AV system integration, conference room design, video conferencing, or corporate AV projects are favored. Fresh graduates with robust AutoCAD abilities and fundamental AV awareness will also be considered.
Compensation
The monthly salary range offered for this position is between INR 25,000 to INR 45,000.
