Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an Automation Test Lead to design, develop, and sustain automated testing scripts leveraging Python, aimed at ensuring robust software quality. This role involves close collaboration with multiple teams to determine testing requirements and form detailed test plans. Additionally, the candidate will build data pipelines using SQL and Kafka to support efficient processing and analytical tasks, while also diagnosing and resolving automation-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using Python programming.
- Work together with cross-functional teams to specify testing needs and develop thorough test strategies.
- Build and manage data flow pipelines utilizing SQL and Kafka for effective data handling and insight generation.
- Identify root causes of automation test failures and implement corrective measures.
Candidate Profile
- 6 to 9 years of professional experience focused on Automation Testing, especially with Python.
- Solid knowledge of SQL database systems, such as MySQL, and the ability to query extensive datasets successfully.
- Hands-on experience in working with message brokers like Kafka to handle real-time data streams.
- Expertise in crafting complex database queries across diverse environments.
