Job description

Role Overview and Candidate Profile

We seek a qualified Audit Consultant possessing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Mathematics, or a closely related discipline. Ideal candidates have at least two years of relevant experience in auditing or accounting, strong analytical capabilities, and an up-to-date understanding of accounting laws and regulations. Fluency in English is essential, with additional language skills being an advantage.

The candidate should demonstrate the ability to mentor team members, handle complex problem-solving, analyze financial data effectively, and be prepared to participate in large, multifaceted projects with a sense of urgency. Relevant professional certifications like ACCA or local equivalents, either completed or in progress, are highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute audit procedures to review clients' financial records and internal control systems across diverse sectors.
  • Deliver assurance and testing activities adhering to client requirements and engagement goals.
  • Support team efforts through coaching and day-to-day mentoring.
  • Analyze financial information to identify issues and recommend improvements.
  • Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders and contribute to team accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Build effective working relationships and actively pursue professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in auditing or accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in English, with additional languages considered a plus.
  • Strong knowledge base in Economics and Finance.
  • Familiarity with current accounting legislation and standards.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA) preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to logically organize information.
  • Capability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
