This Associate position at Broaden, a growth consultancy in London, sits at the crossroads of executive search, growth advisory, and corporate M&A. Broaden is expanding its London presence to bolster client relationships and oversee the firm's growth consultancy operations, including recruitment and start-up advisory.
Unlike typical high-volume recruitment agencies, Broaden collaborates closely with CEOs and M&A Directors in insurance, FinTech, specialty finance, and technology sectors to handle retained search mandates and long-term growth strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships within sectors like insurance, specialty finance, and FinTech.
- Contribute to strategic growth advisory services and recruitment processes at Broaden.
- Engage in delivering efficient, high-quality recruitment and advisory services tailored for rapidly scaling companies following VC/PE fundraising rounds.
- Manage varied daily activities that support business scaling and client success.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess a strong academic background demonstrating intellectual capability for complex, innovative work.
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to energize and influence people positively.
- Understand and apply the distinction between working hard and working smart, with a focus on efficient work strategies.
- Prior experience in high-performance environments such as sports, debating, music, etc., is highly valued if accompanied by insights gained.
- No restrictions on degree status or years of work experience.
- Eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
Compensation and Progression
The position offers a base salary of up to £40,000 annually plus unlimited commission. Successful candidates will enjoy significant autonomy and opportunities to advance toward company equity ownership and senior leadership roles. The role's responsibilities define its title, with flexibility afforded in professional designation.
Eligibility
Applicants must be UK citizens or otherwise have the legal right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is currently unavailable.
