About the Role and Organization
We seek a Team Lead Associate Product Owner with over five years of experience to contribute to a leading global firm that excels in analytics, digital transformation, and business process solutions. Our client collaborates with Fortune 500 companies to deliver pioneering, technology-driven solutions across diverse sectors, while nurturing a culture of ongoing learning, teamwork, and career advancement. The role focuses on FinTech, asset management, and investment management domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate intensely with business, product, technology, and data teams to extract requirements, transforming them into detailed product specifications, user stories, and functional documentation.
- Utilize SQL and Python to interrogate and analyze data for issue identification, requirement validation, insight generation, and to underpin solution design.
- Drive Agile product delivery practices including managing Jira workflows, maintaining product backlogs, establishing acceptance criteria, sprint planning, and supporting user acceptance testing.
- Engage with various stakeholders to comprehend data flow architectures, APIs, pipelines, integrations, and technology implementations within Asset Management and Investment Management systems.
- Facilitate data-oriented product development, monitor performance metrics and reporting, and contribute to AI and GenAI initiatives while effectively liaising with both technical and business teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of five years’ professional experience focusing on FinTech, Asset Management, Investment Management, or handling financial data.
- Proven proficiency in business analysis or product ownership roles, including collecting requirements, authoring user stories, preparing documentation, and managing UAT.
- Strong skills in SQL complemented by a solid understanding of Python, enabling autonomous data examination and problem-solving.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis, data management systems, data pipelines, APIs, and integration of systems.
- Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies, Jira tool usage, managing stakeholders, and collaborating across multiple teams.
